Here I am after crossing the Victoria Falls Bridge from Zimbabwe to Zambia. It's worth the walk to get a much better view of the Falls. The 2nd pic is of us making our way down the hilly path to the bottom of the gorge to set off rafting,
the 3rd as we reach the rafts.

That's Ciaran, another Irish guy I met while rafting. He was spending a couple of months on an overland truck tour. That's rapid 1 in the background (in the 2nd photo too), just below the main Falls. This rapid has huge troughs and waves and you've got to paddle hard at the end of it or you get swept into the gorge wall on the bend.
