That's me up the front of the raft again. Elliott's the guide this time. A small guy, but he knew how to crack the whip and get us all paddling as one. The 2nd pic is us dropping into Rapid 4, known as the Overland Truck Eater. It's the highest drop on the Zambezi. The whitewater fills the boat in a second as you hit the rapids after the drop.

You've gotta hit the wave head-on to get through it without flipping. Here we hit it sideways and everybody got
tipped out. The last photo is at the bottom of Rapid 4, as the boat filled up. It's a big rush.
